Sales Procedure
When a Customer Calls About New Service
- Add customer info to Powercode (Name, Email, Phone, Location, County) and create their account
- Determine if you can provide service (check elevation profile)
If Yes:
- Give them correct pricing for their area (check website)
- Explain difference between contract and no contract
- Close the deal
If No:
- Let them know about any pending sites in their area
- Suggest the possibility of a customer-owned tower (refer to Paul Neuville for tower quote)
After Closing the Sale:
Create job with all pertinent notes:
- Plan and contract agreed with by customer
- Any costs involved in installation
- Premise information (tower, steep pitch roof, router, etc.)
- Customer's phone number or location contact
Save job in standby. Navigate to customer's home tab and create call log with info from job notes.
If You Didn't Close:
If the customer left interested, create a call log detailing the conversation, escalate the ticket to yourself, and follow up at a later date.
Upgrade Procedure
When to Offer an Upgrade
- Customer is on 900 equipment with good signal in a Freedom 450 coverage area
- Customer is maxing out bandwidth on 900 equipment
- Customer is having service-related issues on 900 equipment
After Selling the Upgrade
Create job with all pertinent notes:
- Cost/comps
- Pertinent stats from SM (Receive Power, LCT, etc.)
- Premise information (Tower, roof, etc.)
- Customer's phone number or location contact
Save job in standby. Navigate to customer's home tab and create call log with info from job notes.
Send Eversign document to customer and wait for response. After receiving completed Eversign, call customer and schedule job.
Equipment Pick-Up Procedure
Create job with all pertinent notes:
- Detailed information on the customer's issue
- Pertinent stats from the SM (Receive Power, LCT, etc.)
- Premise information (Tower, roof, etc.)
- Customer's phone number or location contact
Save job in standby. Navigate to customer's home tab and create call log with info from job notes.
Send Eversign document to customer and wait for response. After receiving completed Eversign, call customer and schedule job.
